Hey Wranglers,

We’ve got big news: Wrangle is coming to Microsoft Teams.

For the last few years, we’ve been deep in the world of Slack, helping teams turn chaotic, ad-hoc requests into work you can actually track and act on. Now, as part of our mission to meet teams where they already work, we’re taking the next major step - bringing Wrangle into the Microsoft Teams ecosystem.

Teams is a different environment with a different culture of work. It’s more DM-heavy, widely adopted across large enterprises, and represents a huge set of organizations we haven’t been able to support until now. We’re excited to finally open Wrangle up to organizations that run on Teams, or who operate across both platforms.

So what’s next?

If you’re all-in on Slack, nothing changes. In fact, we will keep making your life better.

If your organization runs on Teams (or both platforms), we’d love to talk.

Why Teams and why now

From the very beginning, Wrangle’s mission has been simple: help teams meet their customers where they already are.

In today’s world, that’s no longer the hallway, email, or clunky ITSM and HR portals - it’s conversational platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams.

Every organization has multiple systems of record: Jira, Zendesk, GitHub, ServiceNow, each serving a specific team. But chat is the only surface that everyone uses. Slack and Teams are where work actually starts, decisions get made, and context lives.

That’s why we believe the future of ticketing is conversational.

Conversational ticketing (and why it matters)

The most important part of any request isn’t the form submission - it’s the conversation around it.

That’s where context is shared.
That’s where decisions are debated.
That’s where the “why” behind the work lies.

Traditional ticketing systems force that conversation outside their platforms, usually into chat, and then lose it. By pushing people into portals, they miss the critical discussion that actually defines the work, and as a result, they’re no longer the true system of record.

Wrangle flips that model.

We live where the requesters already are. We capture the conversation, keep it flowing naturally, and keep your systems of record up to date behind the scenes. No context lost. No work falling through the cracks.

And because chat conversations are rich with real-world context, they’re also the best place to apply AI. Since Wrangle operates directly inside the conversation, we can leverage the full history of a decision, not just the final ticket, to better train agents and automate work in ways legacy ITSM tools simply can’t.

What this means going forward

We’ve spent nearly five years building and sharpening Wrangle inside Slack. Slack has been (and continues to be) an incredible partner. Everything we’ve learned - what works, what scales, and what modern ops teams truly need is now being adapted for a massive new ecosystem.

This is an exciting next chapter for Wrangle, and we’re just getting started.

If you are using Slack - great! We will continue to enrich your experience.

If your organization runs on Microsoft Teams, or operates across both Slack and Teams, we’d love to hear from you. There are exciting times ahead.
